Our story

Once upon a time, in a Danish school, our founder Zdenko was just your average 8th grader until one day, his parents made him wear a bland bike helmet. But Zdenko wasn't one to settle for boring, so he spiced things up by adding a cardboard snout, teeth, and googly eyes to his helmet! Suddenly, all of his friends wanted one too, and that's when the spark of an idea for Crazy Safety Helmets was born.

Fast forward a few years, and Zdenko met the perfect person to help bring his vision to life - his co-partner Kim. When they first met back in 2006, Kim was working as a Product Manager in the bike world and fell in love with Zdenko's idea. It took some time, but with Kim's ten years as CEO of ABUS Nordic and Zdenko's creativity, they finally made it happen.

In 2018, they bought the Crazy Safety IP and set out to bring joy and safety to kids all around the world. And today, thousands of kids are cruising around with a smile on their face, all thanks to their trusty Crazy Safety helmet - just like Zdenko was back in 8th grade!
